The Spartanburg Area Citadel Club's tailgate at The Citadel vs Wofford football game will begin at 4:00 PM on Saturday August 29th, the game will start at 6:00 PM. The tailgate will be held on the visitor's side of Gibbs Stadium, entering off Pine Street next to the Starbucks. More details will be coming soon ...

KNOB Send-off (18 June 2026)

Please join us for our annual Knob Send-Off! We look forward to welcoming the incoming Class of 2030 and their families for an evening of fellowship and encouragement before they head to campus. We are pleased to welcome Colonel Tom Gordon, Commandant of The Citadel, who will be on hand to speak to the new knobs.

Monthly Meeting (21 May 2026)

Our next meeting will feature Col. Dremann, '94, who was recently named the Director of the Krause Center for Leadership. He will bring us up to date on the new leadership program at The Citadel and share insights into the transitions taking place on campus. As always, there will be a cash bar and light refreshments. We hope you can attend!

Citadel Baseball Tailgate (10 Apr 2026)

|
The Citadel baseball team will play Wofford in a three-game road series, and we need your support for the Bulldogs!
Saturday's game is at 1:00 PM and Sunday's game is at 2:00 PM. We hope you can make the second or third game, but do try to come out on Friday! It seems the two teams don't like each other, so we need you there to cheer our Dogs to victory!
Matt Brock, '99, and Chris Maxon from Greenville will be heading up a tailgate for us at King Field. The tailgate tent will be set up along the fence by the first base line — look for us and come say hello!

We will hold Muster on Thursday, March 26, 2026, and we request your attendance at our annual recognition of those who have passed away this past year. Muster is one of the highlights of our club meetings, where we honor our fallen alumni.

Wednesday, January 28th, 2026 is our next club meeting. We will once again host the Admissions Department, along with Colonel Gordon, the Commandant, and several local cadets. Mark your calendars, this has consistently been one of our best attended gatherings!

Our Annual Total Ministries Food Drive - Drop off much-needed food supplies at 302 South Main Street. A tent will be set up in the back so you can drive in, drop off, and go - easy! We've averaged around 1,000 lbs each year; let's exceed it again.
Requested items:

ON FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 12TH, 6:00-8:00 PM--ART CHASE, the Citadel's Athletic Director, will be with us. We are going to meet at the Country Club of Spartanburg. It should be an informative meeting after we have just played North Dakota State and play Gardner Webb the next day in Boiling Springs, NC.

Pamela Evette, Lieutenant Governor of South Carolina, will be with us and we look forward to hearing from her and what is going on in our state. This meeting is open to anyone and if you have someone you would like to bring that is perfectly fine!. I've heard from her staff and she is coming to speak with us in her role as LT Governor of SC. As a disclaimer, Citadel Clubs are not allowed to endorse any candidates for any type of office.

KNOB Send off for Class of 2029
|
|
We will host our annual KNOB event before they matriculate in August. We have, so far, 8 KNOBS and their parents attending on the 19th. Also, LTC Tim Terese will be our speaker and Army 1st LT Caymen Williams, ’20 from the Admissions Department will be there to answer questions for the KNOBS and Parents. We have three upperclassmen coming, Mac Russell, Charlie Millinor, and Julia Williamson who all have been to our KNOB send off events in the past. All three are rising juniors and we look forward to having them speak with the KNOBS.
